!967 Avanti II Engine colors

I am rebuilding a 327 for a 1967 Avanti II. This engine has been apart for awhile and machined long before I got it , Anyway I'm taking a poll what color is your 1967 Engine and what was the build date of the car , Lets stay on track here and focus on 1967 Avanti II only . Thanks , Ed

Mine is Chevy red (correction I guess it is called orange)

It should be Chevy Orange. Chevy used that color until about 1978 when all GM engines were painted Corporate Blue.

My 67 is the chevy red-orange it is orginal

Most rattle cans of engine paint (VHT, Plasticote, Duplicolor, etc) and POR15 all carry two Chevrolet orange/red colors. The redder is for the early V8's (up to 57), and the oranger for the later cars (58-78).
