The talented late Lavon "Doc" Erickson from our chapter used to re-cast the often broken trailer hitches on them. :woot:

I remember buying my Matchbox Wagonaire as a kid and the first thing I did was throw away the little plastic hunter and hunting dog that came with it.

Without having production figures in front of me, I think it's sad but probably true that Matchbox built way more of these wagons than Studebaker ever did. :(
