After reading a very interesting story by John Clarey, I wonder how many of us Studebaker lovers also ride the steel horse? Here's some of mine.712227122371224

My Studebaker shares its garage with my old 74 cubic inch Flat head Harleys. A stock '39 and a custom '44.

Never took any pictures, but back in the day I had and rode:
-68 Honda CB 350 road bike
-70 Triumph Bonneville
-brand new 72 Triumph Bonneville

After an old man in a VW ran me down, and the cops said it was my fault, I lost my nerve. You have to be limber to ride and I was stiff and nervous, so I bought my 50 Commander convertible and put the top down.

1997 Honda Valkyrie here.
I put 65,000 miles on her [Clarissa is her name] before a back operation gone bad put a stop to it.
Back in 2005 I took a month off work and rode from Arroyo Grande, Ca to Coraopolis, Pa and back.
Stayed in small towns and stayed off interstates whenever I could. What great memories of fine people I met along the way.
I camped when I found a good spot. Spent 3 days at Chaco Canyon, New Mexico.
I was interviewed there by a local newspaper. That is about my only claim to fame.
I've still got the motorcycle, I really need to ride her again before I get too old [I'm only 67]

47 yrs of motorcycle riding on the street. Picked up this Missile in 2012 (ZX14r) and converted it to Sports Touring. 41mpg if I behave myself.
I've had motorcycles almost as long as Studebakers.

Nice DGR photo, Voxnut! I've participated in the Philadelphia ride for past three years.

Here are six of the fifteen I own.
There are five more Hondas, three Yamahas, and another Kawasaki. These are the only ones I have pics of on this machine.

My first motorcycle was at 16 years old, a 1952 Harley, 'K' Model Sportster. Since then, have had at least 20. Mostly Harleys and BMW. I currently have had a 1986 Harley FXRD for at about 15 years and 80,000 miles. Do not ride nowadays nearly as much as I used to, but still love it. Riding actually loosens my joints up. I can tell the difference, spring to fall.
