    I like the two tone paint schemes on the '56 and '57's.....the colors!!

      I remember seeing this one a while ago and lusting after it. I think that this one would make an ideal companion to my '62 GT Hawk, seeing how it keeps up the theme of "conventional yet not". The GT Hawk was a Ford Thunderbird but not and this is a 1956 Chevrolet but not. Alter-ego Americarna!

      1962 GT Hawk - "Daisy-Mae" - she came dressed to kill in etherial green with a charming turquoise inside. I'm hopelessly in love!

        Oddly, although this car is often compared to resemble the 55'-56' Chevy, the straight ahead shot appears to have a resemblance more akin to the 55'-56' Ford to me. In any event, I'm a big fan of these Studebakers.
