Holy s**t! This car has quite a story on it that's for sure! One thing though, is it really worth $82,500?

Used to always hear that something is only worth what someone will pay for it - and there could be someone who has pockets deep enough to pay that - but the owner might sit on it for quite a while...

Wonder what a RHD '58 Golden Hawk would bring in that condition and mileage...

There was an article in Turning Wheels many (25+ ??) years ago. IIRC, Carroll Studebaker looked at it on a trip down under.

You are correct Paul. Carroll Studebaker told me about the car at the time. Probably Craig Parslow will remember the Turning Wheels issue that covered it. I have some pictures of it that were sent to me back then. IIRC the mileage then was 87. In my opinion it should be kept as a museum piece.
