Engine Id number

In my 62 champ the engine number is V456200.Not sure it
is orignal.Oil filter on top.Dont now if its 259 or 289
Thank you for any help on this.

Lenny, don't throw away that Frantz toilet paper oil filter, if you do not want it, I run them on my cars and will take it.

I would like to put a spinon filter on the champpickup.StudeRich
do you have the complete set up to change it over.I have seen stude
engines that have it on top.I would need the brackets filter mounting
plate&hoses.etc.
