  • it's baaack... the flathead powered Champ for 12 grand

I saw a repost of an ad for that blue 63 Champ (out of ???) with the flathead six and chrome wheels on the Omaha craigslist. They still want 12 grand for it, more power to them.

There is a 60 ragged maybe at the most $500.00 champ truck on Tucson Craigslist that originally was advertised at a tow yard for $1,200 a month ago. I did not look at it deciding that I did not want to sleep in it. Well, it has surfaced again at a different location here in town now for $2,500. Greed trumps common sense again.

Funny thing, I have seen a few ebay ads for Champs going for $2,000 and these are parts trucks at best. When I was buying the same type of Champ truck off farmsteads in southeast Nebraska years ago I was only paying $150-$250, darn that inflation.
