FYI-At Silver auction in Phoenix: 56 blue and white President, power steering, factory AC in trunk, automatic, 4 door, V8, 52,663 miles, 1.8 condition, sold for $12,750

Tim it's interesting to note that the other 7 Studebakers listed in the sale ahve no sold prices listed. Now that means they are slow in posting results or the cars did not sell. Even that is not noted so I guess they are just slow in their post auction administration

Yeah but...was it a desirable President Classic "Y" body, or just a "W" body, bare bones President 4dr. sedan?

As per my post last week the Barris 53 convertible sold for "only" $19,000. I thought that was a steal.

'ol whats-his-name' LOL that would be me, the trunk unit was a Studebaker unit, and yea we put it in. the car is the "Y" body. worth that much and maybe more. but sold for more than dad got.

I wonder if the Barris convertible really sold. I saw it on the lot at Kruse. I know a few cars at Kruse were fake sales.
