EDIT: As an aside, the fins on Bob Bourke's personal 1954 Starliner were hand cast by him (neither fiberglass nor steel).Gary L.

The 1956 Golden Hawk was a one year only fin. In 1957, The Silver Hawk used one style of fin and another style was used on the Golden Hawk. In 1958, same difference in fin but add Packard Hawk to the mix. In 1959, The fin concave was changed for the Silver Hawk and used from 1959 to 1961. The 1961 added a stainless band on the fin to give it a slightly different appearance.
This fins on all the post 56 Hawk are prone to rust as they tend to trap water.
