Anyone out there know where to get some reproduction chrome tail light bezels? I've checked the more popular Stud sites.

Don't know about reproductions. Keep your eyes peeled to ads in TURNING WHEELS, which you receive if you're a member of SDC. Otherwise, keep your eyes peeled to eBay and other similar auction sites. You may need to send what you have to a pot metal restoration/plating shop. There are a few that can be recommended but, expect to pay dearly.Brad Johnson,

It might be worth the effort to try a couple of the Studebaker specialty salvage yards. I can recommend a guy named Vern Ediger in Halstead KS. His email is sally@nvt.net or website is papasstudebaker.com. There is also a big salvage yard in Van Wert Iowa, but they don't have a website. I have read about it on the forum so you might do a search for "Van Wert Iowa" on here. Aren't taillights interchangeable between 1947-49?

47-49 CHAMPION taillights are all the same. One bar, two lenses.
47-49 COMMANDER taillights are all the same (but different from Champion. Three (?) bars, one lens.
Housings are interchangeable between Right & Left. Sometimes the housings are pitted on the top side only. Guess what? Switch one side for the other on the car and the pitted top side is now on the bottom out of site!
Passed up a good pair for sale at Turlock swap this past Saturday. They come up for sale on eBay often, and others have they frequently.
