  • My new (to me) '62 Champ Pickup 7E7

    I just got a '62 Champ Pickup 7E7 from Gary Hearn. Here are some pics :

    You got that from Gary? I wanted to get that truck so bad. It looks really good. I am happy it went to a good home.

            Nice truck. That looks like one that was in the Proud collection in South Bend in the early 90s.

He had done a bit of "south of the border" customizing to it including some mag wheels in the back and a small diameter steering wheel.                     As a southern California truck it is solid, but needs some cosmetic work. The left tailgate hinge is missing a bolt causing the left side to be lower than the right. But it did come with a home made battery holddown fashioned from some house wire.

                            somewear in the big picture.I had a great time in S.B & i am going
