Although '58 Packards and Studes are an acquired taste (one i have never acquired), there is a really nice looking one on ebay - the current bid is higher than I have ever seen on a Packardbaker!

I love this car. The color is outstanding and the double fins fit the time period perfectly. Being a hard top is the frosting on the cake!

If you could find one to fix up to look this nice $25000 wouldn't get you very far .I always like the looks stand out in any group of cars

It looks nice.
Probably the biggest bad item is the bent front bumper. That looks like it would be difficult and expensive to straighten and rechrome.
Otherwise, I have to get down to little things like the vertical brake pedal.
We owned and drove a Packard Hardtop for nine years. We both liked it.
I am glad to see it pictured hardtoped (with the side windows open).

The car is a PACKARD.
:yeahright:

I see that it has met the reserve this go-round.

Good deal.

Its obviously been here in Alberta for a while. The round Safety Inspection sticker on the windshield dating from late 1969 is still intact. It makes me wonder where it was sold new.
