It is good that you changed the name. On March 25 it is a few days too late to be a Winter meet. Around here, it will probably still feel like Winter and you would not want to have an outdoor meet, but technically it is no longer Winter then. Is that why the name was changed? I wish you well with it. I have attended several California Studebaker meets and enjoyed them all.

Thats always a fun show, I used to pop down there for the weekend and vend Stude parts. (and SUN!) Man it sure sounds nice, we have had a nasty few weeks weather wise!

I was a fairly regular attendee at that meet from around 1986 to late 1990s. Nice folks, and it has always been a fun time. I have also saw some interesting Studes there, like the Joe Granatelli Avanti with 429 Caddy motor.

Gary you win the prize; we changed the name so we could change the date.

If my move to Arizona isn't done by then I'll be there. The only Studes that I haven't moved are the 2 3/4 ton Champs so I hope to drive one of them to the meet. So far I've moved 20 cars to the new place. The last 2 Studes will be transported along with my 68 Le Mans convertible and a Champ frame/bed assembly. The last 8 months have been busy ones!

No Murphy's Museum this year? That seemed like a Great place for the Big Show. Maybe it was thought to be TOO far out of town?

Rich, that was exactly the problem. We love the venue and David Neel treated us wonderfully. We saw a downward trend in Studebakers shown at the event each year we were there and when we talked with Studebaker owners, the distance was the problem.
We hope to see you and Dave at the show this year!
