If anyone is looking for a Studebaker bus, there's a 1951 available in Sutherlin Oregon. The advertiser states the drivetrain has been upgraded, but it needs brake work.

Interesting that it appears to have a one piece windshield. I suspect he meant it has an Eaton rear rather than Eden.

I am in charge of the transportation department at the school where I work. I wonder if I could convince them to go retro. Ha ha. Unfortunately it would never pass current safety and emissions rules. It sure would look cool in our bus yard though.

Interesting that it appears to have a one piece windshield.Gary, if you look real close, I think it still has a two-piece windshield. It simply has a center divider bar, rather than a sheet metal divider.

The windshield is two piece, but something still looks odd.

It appears to be a fabricated (by the body builder) cowl/firewall area, as opposed to using the Studebaker cowl/firewall, so it's probably not a 'Studebaker sourced' windshield.

That'd be correct. Rigs like this were built on an 'A1' chassis- just the hood fenders and a firewall to bolt it all to.

There's a dashboard as well~

The rest of the body is built by the coach builder.
Mine is a Superior~

The rig in the ad is something different.
