Carolyn (JEAN) Smithson passed away on 1-17-08

Hello Studebaker Family,

This is Brian Smithson! I am the son of Clinton (Shorty as you all knew him as) and Carolyn (Jean as you all knew her as). They lived in Brookville, Ohio during their studebaker years. I wanted to let you all know that she has passed on. My parents were both long time members of the SDC from 1970 - 1985, and they loved their Studebakers! I today still love them, and miss the meets with all of our SDC friends. If you all remember my family, please E-Mail me and relay any contact info. that you may have. I plan on attending some meets soon, if that is ok with you all. I would also like to get a membership again for my wife and I.

So sad to hear of your Mother's passing. Met Jean & Shorty back in 1973 at South Bend & have exchanged Christmas cards with your Mum till 2003 when we did,nt have replies. Called at the Brookville house back in 1984 for a visit after the Florida Meet.
