Someone posted this photo on the Champ facebook page and it is a truck I have never seen before. I know many of the South American Champs had locally sourced beds (espcially the E9s) but this one looks pretty unique.

No taillights?
Interesting bed, though.
Does the rear axle have a wider track than the front? Are there any more pictures from different angles?

No more photos that I saw. In my 7E spec book the difference between the front and back "tread" is 57 3/16 and 62 9/16

The box seems to match the body lines of the cab better than the Mopar version used in USA. Maybe the back glass, and taillight are part of an ongoing project.

It looks like a cross between those Ford integrated Cab/Box Models 1961? and the rounded Top Jeep beds. Pretty Cool! :!:

It appears to be an unfinished Uruguay Factory Prototype.

I agree Rich. I don't see any sign of a stake hole for extended side boards either. Anyway, I like it. As far as tail lights, a trip to the accessory isle at any truck, trailer, marine supply, or chain store of your choosing...and you could have a set of era correct tail lights installed in about a half hour.:)

Dont think its a prototype. Mirrors look modern and tires look like radials. Looks like modern modified PU. Could the bed sides be from a station wagon? Has the tail gate been narrowed ? If so were?

It looks like handiwork of someone keeping an old truck on the road to me. A skilled body man. It looks like a step side bed with full fenders built up and added on.

Not bad.;)

The bed looks heavily photoshopped.
