The motor housing is painted with Krylon dull aluminum. The mounting bracket and the cover are fresh out of the chrome tank.

Not yet. It takes me longer to build a car than it used to. The forum will be the first to get a review if and when he's drive-able.

Is that an old Cal-Custom/Hawk air cleaner? Or is it a 67 Buick? What is the wiper cover from?

But Jerry, you've been looking at the quality of your own work so long, you've lost touch with what the rest of the industry calls good. A pedestrian part like that, all cleaned up proper with superior prep work before going into the tank looks amazing. A liitle bit of chrome, all done perfect, is far better than a lot done okay.

Or a wiper motor sprayed along with the rest of the car. Your example is top drawer.

That is a great looking piece. It makes the firewall really pop. Another detail that adds to the quality and look of the car. Buttercup is lucky to have you for an owner.

                            I think it's a MrGasket/Rodware item. It takes a 2"X10" element. It's no longer being produced.
Here'e a couple or three better pictures of it.

It's an idea I stole from Brian Woody, ('woodysrods' here on the forum).
Here's the thread about it from 10-30-2013.
The part number is down close to the end of the thread.

Thanks Paul. I just hope I can get the rest of the car looking as good.
