  • 1953-1955 Clock - where does it mount on dash

I found this style clock with some 1953 parts and I am trying to figure out where (and if) it mounts on a C/K dash. I found a picture of a 1955 Speedster with it on the dash, but nothing for 1953-54. It may have only gone on sedans for all I know. I looked at an old discussion about 12v, but no photos where ever posted.

It is for 6 Volt 1955's.

IF it was used on a '53-'54, the ONLY place a rectangular Clock could fit is in a Special Clock/Lighter Chrome Panel next to the Lighter, but ONLY on Champions.

The listed 12V discussion says it was for 53-54 too. Read the link I posted. I am not defending it, just referring to it.

Champion clock. Fits in the chrome strip next to the lighter (different p/n strip with a extra square hole compared to the regular one). Commander clocks for that year are in one of the dash gauge pods.

Here's one someone is selling with the '53-'54 Champion Mounting plate mounted upside down.
