Here is a tip that may be of help to those who do not get down to the local gas station to air up the tires, especially with an old car stored in a garage.
I purchased a "Slime" 2X tire inflation machine. This is the best money I have spent in many years.
Attaches to the battery with an 8 foot line, and has a 13 foot coiled hose that attaches to the tire air valve.
To guild the lily, I soldered on an extra ten foot #16 wire to the 8 foot cord........so that I can have the pump next to me as I air up the tires.
Many places sell them, check out via e-bay and Google...........can be purchased for as low as $55.00
