A Snap On engine scope that's 30 years old, is new technology on my 51 Studebaker. Cost in the 70's was about 8K, but I pad less then $400 on ebay because they are worthless for cars made after the 90's. They are on ebay often, and very handy for us to use.

If you find one like I did with the exhaust analyzer, you'll find checking the fuel/air mixture is very handy. Here's one on ebay now, but wait for a cheaper one.

it's already been tried, and I know I need new spark plugs :) (waiting for a day when it's more than 16 degrees outside... last weekend was COLD!)
