The closest I come to that is a typed letter by RL to Harold Churchill as President in late 1958 formally signed off as Raymond Loewy but then handwritten Raymond with an additional greeting of "merry christmas and a most happy new year".

That letter by Raymond Loewy to Harold Churchill is in this illustrated Turin Automobile ShowClick image for larger version

ID:	1717033 book of 23 images of the latest vehicle designs from the Euopean market that the Studebaker Corporation had commissioned Raymond Loewy to do. There was a similar book done of the Paris Show but sadly that one was destroyed in a flood during the early nineties.

Thanks for the info, Bill. My wife and I are regular viewers of Sunday Morning. I hope they do a good job concerning Raymond Loewy.

Pete Crisitello posted this on the Garden State Chapter Facebook page today.

              ‎Peter Crisitello‎ to Raymond Loewy Chapter -- AOAI4 hrs

Received an interesting call yesterday that totally changed my plans for this weekend. One of the TV & Movie production supply companies I have dealt with in the past was desperate to get an Avanti for this Sunday. While My 1967 [RQA] is not an original Studebaker, they liked my pictures and accepted it almost immediately. I now find out that it is not just a photo shoot but a segment of CBS TV Sunday Morning. The segment will be dealing with non other than Raymond Loewy.
needless to say, I spent most of today cleaning out my car and then decided instead of spending the better part of today and tomorrow breaking my back polishing it up I will leave it to a professional shop. Contacted a detail shop near me and they adjusted their schedule and are currently working on it. I hope to have it back by noon on Saturday.
So rev up your DVR's to record CBS on Sunday morning. I was told that my car should be on stage for most of the segment. My call time is 6:AM in NY City. Not a drive I often make. To tell the truth, I have been to Chicago more times than NYC, even though I live less than a hour away, here in Rahway, NJ.

Well...as of late, the major traditional dinosaur media has lost so much credibility, I'll trust you guys to fill us in on how well they do. Perhaps, given the subject matter, they might manage to tell an accurate story without clouding it up with some kind of biased agenda.

I saw it in real time this AM as my wife yelled at me see the Avanti on TV. Made it in time to see it and that little devil just glowed in the studio lights. It could not have presented better. Thanks for taking the time and effort to let the TV audience see a really well styled automobile.

                      Well Done Bob
