  • Does anyone have Power Hawk glass they can bring to Reedsville

I need door and vent window glass that will fit a 56 Power Hawk (both sides). Does anyone have original glass that they could bring to Reedsville?

    Same glass as 53-61 C-body.

It's also flat, so can be cut from safety glass by your local glass installer, using the old glass as a template.

Although I have my glass, it is broken, which would make it difficult to remove properly.
Trying to cut a new piece of glass from a bunch of assembled pieces doesnt seem like
        the best approach to me.

I would rather have original glass if possible.

Call an old established glass co. Many have templates for the old cars. In the L.A. area I know Gardena Glass has them. Ask around in your area.

I have checked with several glass local companies and those in neighboring towns.
None of them have the patterns available, nor did they seem interested in trying
to obtain them. Some have been in business since at least the 60's. I got a quote
from a place on the internet, but shipping was around $60. Iwas just hoping that one of
the vendors going to Reedsville has a parts car they could pull them out of. They would
make a sale, I'd save on shipping. Win-Win

Not everyone who attends Reedsville visits this forum. You might want to check with someone like Tom Karkiewicz.
