HI,
I have to replace the spacer foam pieces in my door for the cranks and the remote control. Some questions:

1) They look the same to me, are they really different between the Window Crank Seal 310844 and Door Lock Seal
306018?
2) Cant I just cut some foam to fit that? If so, what kind of foam is recommended?

Thanks!

I just used the foam pieces on the top of new DVD-R cake pans.

It was a foam rubber. Take a look at computer mouse pads and keyboard wrist rest pads. Not the gel filled ones.

A piece of Furniture or Car Seat foam will work perfectly, they only need to be 3/8 Inch thick.
What is MORE important is the Plastic "Separators" and "Escutcheons".

OR, order New ones from a Studebaker Vendor:

Ha- I figured out a solution: pool noodle! I cut a slice off a pool noodle, then cut almost 1/4 of the wedge out of the noodle, and it looks like it will fit perfectly.
