  • Transmission / Overdrive: Power shift question

I have a power shift at the shop for an overhaul. Thus transmission has an air cooled torque converter along with the air cooled bellhousing. Is this a normal set up, or has someone done some swapping? Thanks in advance

Nope, it should have the cooling slots, as well as the sheet metal shields on the bottom and passenger side. The torque converter will also have the stamped sheet metal "fan" spot welded to it. The converter should be stamped HR
