I don't have a clue either, but I have ONE. Needs a new owner, starts, drives, all gears work. most of the lights, and sometimes STOPS LOL Not much rust, one small spot, and surface rust.

8,070 - and that includes all three body styles... 2dr, 4dr & wagons.

Edit: that figure's the number of 194-powered Commanders. Not the number of 194 W/3spdOD attached.

        Miscreant adrift in
        the BerStuda Triangle

        1957 Transtar 1/2ton
        1960 Larkvertible V8
        1958 Provincial wagon
        1953 Commander coupe

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Hopefully there are a few 6 cyl automatics out there still waiting to be purchased. I have been searching for a 65 or 66 with 6 cyl auto for a while;can't do much restoration work but I can maintain the car. I've been watching JDP's list for some time and missed one or two beauties. But I'm sure there is one in the $5k range with my name on it..... I tell my wife that it will be the last car I will ever need, but she plans to bury me in one! bob.c
