Dick Steinkamp came by earlier today. We shot the breeze, reviewed some of my "stock" and even made a deal on the 63 Daytona project I've had here for years.
Had lunch together, talked more cars 'n stuff and he was off again. I'm gonna see if I can scare up some parts for his 53 El Commino.[^]

Sounds like fun!
So, Dick bought that forlorn Daytona huh? I hope he does it up right, that car deserves it! If I'da had the $$$ to spend, I would've shipped it to Jawjuh and finished it. :D

Speaking of '63 Daytona HT's, I need to start a new thread about mine... ;)

I had a good time at Bob's (as usual). The Daytona was too hard to resist, and having that empty trailer I need to tow home....

Anne,
I dropped your hub cap off at Bob's. We need to figure out a place to meet in Turlock to hand off the parts for Clunk. How many are there and how big?

Hmmm... I had not thought about there being a kind of familial resemblance between Dick and Waldo... but now that you mention it.[:0][}:)]

JS's spot to stash the parts works for me (if it works for John).

I don't mind the Waldo comparison...it's better than the usual one to Mr. Burns :( (must be the hair line or something [^])
