I just make do with a regular puller, and some creativity, but its a PITA. I agree, it would be great to have an original one. This should be interesting, in seeing if anyone out there has one for you. If anyone shows up with two, I call dibs on the second one.

For what it may be worth -
The Studebaker engine does not have a "harmonic balancer". It doesn't need one. Very few engines need an external balancing weight attached to the damper.
It's a "harmonic damper". Or in other words, a shock absorber.
The part on the end of the crankshaft does no...act of "balancing" whatsoever. It's main purpose in life is to dampen crankshaft "harmonics", again, with no balancing of anything.

We pulled another one the other day using a standard 3-jaw long arm puller. The special tool just isn't necessary.

Just use a little creativity with a large 2-leg or 3-leg puller, either will do. I have notched the inboard side of the puller arms, so the claws would get enough bite on the back side of the HB. Have also used a huge hose clamp to put around the puller legs so the claws would maintain their bite on the back side. The HB usually comes off fairly easy too, once you get it moving. Whatever you do, do NOT hammer on it.

I made a puller and successfully used it. Loaned it to Brent Hagen and he used it too. It pulls on the back of the center casting without pulling on the outer, rubber supported, ring. Works like a champ.1950 Commander Land Cruiser

Why are we worried about pulling on the outer ring? Its pressed on from the back side and is fully captured and supported by the iron pulley. It can't be damaged or dislodged by the puller jaws using it as a purchase. We've pulled dozens that way.
