  • Looks like a good buy for a big truck fan.

This truck is about 3 hours north of me. It looks like a good start for someone looking for a hauler sized Studebaker. The price has come down since I first saw it advertised indicating it may be negotiable still. https://fayar.craigslist.org/cto/d/s...251422242.html

Appears to be a 1961 6E-28. Looks like it has a 5-spd, but can't tell if it's OD.

The Serial Number plate has fairly visible when saved & enlarged, equipment coding after the Model Number, it reads: 6E28-171-4E3ND I can't really tell for sure if there is one more Alpha/Numeric after that or not, it looks mostly blank.

I would think the N is NP and the "D" is "Direct".
I does have a 2 Speed R/A for what that is worth, both Ratios would still be in the 5's.

      It is E28 7362 a 1961, not a '55 as advertised, of course.
