Studebaker was a special featured Marque this year at this classy event. They were not judge but on display only. There was one Avanti that was in the judged class.
And now, for your enjoyment. . .

The last photo (Avanti) was in the judged class.
This year had a wonderful array of stunning cars and the event was well worth the price of admission.

But Why is everything roped off?

But Why is everything roped off?
I did not ask, however, since it is a Concours and these are the creme-De-la-creme of the classic/collector car world they don't want people approaching them. Some of these cars were worth over a million dollars. That being said, I did find that some owners who were present with their cars were very happy to let me slip under the rope to get photos of the interiors of their cars. They are proud owners after-all.
Perhaps someone with more experience at these high end shows can speak to your question better.

The only Concours d' Elligance events I have been to were two of the four held in Pinehurst. I do believe that the vehicles were not roped off to stop the on lookers a closer view.

Thank you for bringing this special event to all of us Ed. It looks like a truly fine event with a lovely selection of our favorite marque.
