  • Looking for my Old '53 Starlight

I sold my '53 Starlight to a Philip Nelson of Pueblo CO. back in 1994. It was two tone Beige body with a mica White Top. My research is coming up that Philip has passed away in 2006. Does anyone know the whereabouts of this car?

    Thank You

I don't suppose you still have the Serial Number right?

Was it a Champion Six or Commander V8?

Trying hard to picture how one could Paint the Lower body Two Tone and the Roof another Color.
Maybe the Body Side, Body Line, depression in the front Fender and Door?

Have you tried contacting the decedent’s family?

This is a great idea. And it should not be too hard to find them. Just do a google search for Phillip Nelson of Pueblo CO.

A Starlight does not make it a Champion 6. Starlights and Starliners were both made as Champion sixes and Commander V8s.

EDIT: The emblem is missing from the quarter panel. That would indicate if it is a Champion or Commander.
