    I think that most of us agree these are neat trucks unless you have to actually drive (or ride in) one.[:0]

                Very nice. I had no clue that I would be a part of Stude History when I lived in Ames, Iowa and met Vern Whatoff when he brought a Dodge truck "Toter" into the shop, and had us rpaint it for a quick sale. Later, I worked in the plant originally built for producing the trailer house moving equipment. At the time, it was called: "France Betten Beer Trucks USA". Really, it was a fairly good place to work, and the Ohio-based company also thought they were getting a super-good deal by hiring Iowans to work for them. I, however had an agenda of my own and left after a year there.

I had no clue that I would be a part of Stude History when I lived in Ames, Iowa and met Vern Whatoff when he brought a Dodge truck "Toter" into the shop, and had us rpaint it for a quick sale.                     I came across one of those in a junkyard in Southeast Kansas years ago. It was complete- V8 w/5-speed overdrive tranny. I thought more about it being worth something, but when I went back a couple years later the whole junkyard was gone.
