  • Who was working the body tag machine that day?

I guess it is not to uncommon for people to say, "Don't buy a car made on a Friday, or Monday.."

Now that was not the cause of this Lark's demise..

    ouch..

    Here is the interesting part..

Has anyone else seen a Body Tag stamped like this? Or is this a true one of a kind "variance" to the typical coding process?

Looks like there was also a 'streamer' tag at one time.

Was/is it a four speed car or do you know the reason that this convertible was equipped with a streamer?

I do not remember seeing a body tag with an error of that nature.

Yes it is a 4 speed car 289 four barrel TT buck seat car . And I have hundreds of body tags and looked at thousands of them over the years . For some reason I'm drawn to the body tag more than the engine when the hoods are up at the shows. And this is the first one that I have seen miss stamped.
