View Full Version : Anyone own a 1966 Wagonaire?

Still trying to get the Wagonaire Registry (wagonaire.info) a little bigger. There isn't a single 1966 Wagonaire registered. I know that they are the rarest of the rare but there must be someone out there with one they would register isn't there?

Of course any 1963 to 1966 Wagonaire is more than welcome on the registry (wagonaire.info). I have hopes it will become a place for Wagonaire owners to share problems and solutions unique to the Wagonaire, parts needed and parts for sale also unique to the Wagonaire, and just plain enjoy looking at what other owners have done with their Wagonaire.

Thanks to those that have already registered.

There were 940 wagons built for 1966. I would expect that there would be about 75 around somewhere in various conditions.

I would love to own a 1966 but have never seen one except in pictures. Hope that some of them will come out of the woodwork and register at: wagonaire.info

Yes, there is one in the Oregon region and soon, if not already in Washington state, owned by someone here on the forum, but I don't recall off hand, who. I'm sure several will turn up.

There was a rather nice 1966 Wagonaire at auction recently in Pennsylvania. Around West Chester I believe?
Hopefully it was sold to a member?

I have seen a couple. The last one I saw was in Denver in 1999. All white with a red interior. Very nice shape. They wanted 10 k

There was a project '66 Wagonaire on the Providence, R.I. Craigslist late in 2015. It looked like it was an abandoned restoration project with a six and bucket seats. Did anyone on the forum get her?

There were two in Tucson years ago. White with 283 and A/T, Brown with 283 and overdrive. Could have bought the brown one for $850 but I would have ended up living in it if I brought it home. Lost track of them but it would be good to find them again.

You can add the last and second last Wagonaires to your registry: http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.com/showthread.php?97419-Last-Studebaker-Wagonaire&highlight=wagonaire

I have 7 wagonaires listed on my '66 registry, not all of which are confirmed to still exist.
