  • Steering: Power steering control valve.

I put in new seals and reaplaced all lines in my 64 Stude. I still have a power steering leak at the control valve. Does anybody know someone who either has a new one or can tell me how rebuilds them . I also would like a better diagram on rebuilding.

Most likely, you either nicked one of the seals, or you put them in backwards. AIR, the sealing lip must face each other towards the center of the spool.

Did you remove the hose SEATS? Pull them out and dress them by chucking them in a drill with a through bolt. Take a file to the come, and dress out the indentations from the old hoses flare. Reinstall and enjoy leak free hose connections. If they are too far gone new ones are available through non Stude vendors. Their seals are a different size, but the other parts interchange.
