Nice photos of Pat's '39 Commander, Kevin's '63 GT Hawk, Mark's 57 Transtar 1/2 ton, but none of Zane's '57 two-ton??

Junior,
I'd say the bungee cord at the nose says it all.

The roadster has a number of non-stock features one of which is the Chevrolet OHV six. I believe the radiator was also not stock.
The '53 experienced a hood latch failure on the way to the event. Despite the damage it was a beautiful car.

And of course, the Lassiter family 1960 4E 4x4 truck! ;) My thanks also to the Willamette Chapter and especially Jean Lassiter for organizing a great Overdrive. :!:

Nice 4X4, but if that is a 1/2 or 3/4 Ton wouldn't it have to be a 59?

Looks like a '59 "Studebaker Deluxe" not a Transtar.

It's one of the 65 U.S. Navy trucks that were made in 1960. http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.com/showthread.php?87811-Studebaker-NAVY-Trucks

Sorry to miss the event. We were out of country on a long planned vacation to Italy. Looks like the weather was good.

Yes, mostly cloudy on Saturday but temps around +75F and sunny on Sunday with temps about +85F. Had no problem being cold inside my C-Cab!! :woot:

Thanks Ed, it was nice to see you also and see a part of Oregon I had not previously visited. Bringing the Transtar was a fluke, I was bringing my '66, but the alternator packed it in at the last moment, so the truck was a late substitution. Fortunately the only issue (a minor one) was the regulator points sticking at times after the engine room got quite hot from the long drive (~410 miles).

The domestic commander was also happy as bringing the truck enabled me to transport her new set of cabinets home from the in-laws in Oregon. ;)
