  • Other: Windshield Wiper Blades and Arms

Can someone tell me what the stock wiper arms and blades are for a 1947 M5. I need to know if they were Trico or Anco....or something else. I know the blade is supposed to be around 9" in length but I am at loss as to what type of arm I need. I have the original setup of 2 vacuum powered motors that bolt directly under the cowl. They are controlled via a chrome knob located on the top center of the dashboard. When the knob is turned, two metal rods (one for each motor) engages the arms on the the individual vacuum motors causing a valve to open on each one allowing vacuum, supplied by the engine, to actuate the wipers.

Best bet is SI, Chuck Collins, Stephen Allen. I have cut down longer blades with some success but you might need Superglue!
