  • Electrical: Turn signal lever wobble

I don't know why I didn't post this 2 years ago. In my 1966 Cruiser I found that the bolt that goes through the turn signal lever was badly worn and that meant the lever always wobbled and was loose. If this is something you experience in your Lark type (maybe earlier, too?), you can get new replacement bolts from Studebakers West. I managed to buy a bunch of new (not NOS) ones that are 99% identical to the originals and fit perfectly. They were not very easy to find. I sold most of them to Studebakers West so they would have ready stock. They may be the only vendor with this part.

If this bolt needs replacing on your car or truck I recommend you get a new one from them and save yourself the trouble of scouring every source for them.

I'm not making a commission or anything. This is a public service announcement.
