Interior: 57 GH Instrument Panel Fiberglass Paint Color

I am ready to paint the fiberglass instrument panel on my 57 Golden Hawk. I know it should be black but am uncertain whether it should be gloss or semi-gloss or ???.

Semi-gloss. More towards flat than gloss.

The thing I dont like about a respray flat black is it is hard to keep clean. Think I will add a coat of flat or semi gloss clear to my dash when I respray it. Wont show dirt as bad and easier to keep clean.

Most of it will be covered with padding.....True?
