Brake/clutch spring help 38 state commander

Can anyone show me a picture or explain in detail where this spring goes?
it should have a matching hook on broken end. It broke and fell off when I pulled out of garage and I do not see a logical place to put the new one (it is on order) as there are a number of possible places. I looked in shop and parts manual but no luck for a picture Any help will be appreciated.

I think this has been solved -- it looks like it is the emergency brake spring. Thanks to a couple of Studebaker owners on the AACA forum. It is much appreciated.

Checked the e brake and that spring is in place. So still in the dark where the broken spring goes some pics of the brake/clutch linkage
