I don't know why the other thread was closed, here are the results:

AND THE RESULTS FOR THE MOST VALUABLE $$$$ HISTORIC STUDEBAKER AVANTI ARE!!!!!............................

1) The Bonneville #9 Avanti!

2) A TIE!!!.....The 'Egbert Avanti'.. and.... any of the nine 'factory production line' Avantis!

3) ANOTHER TIE!!!....The 'Due Cento' Avanti.....and.....63R1001, the first production Avanti!

4) The 'Bonneville #8 Avanti!

And we had one vote for the 'Sears Allstate Cross Country' Avanti!!

My pleasure. I was interested in the results. I had chosen the one which won, but my studebaker knowledge is pretty limited compared to many of you here and I was eager to see what the consensus was.

All twenty of the listed Studebaker Avantis are/were incredible cars which we'd all like to own...however, Studebaker's 1960's performance legacy was truly established by the records #9 Avanti (the John Hora car) set at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 1963!

A wonderful car...in beautiful condition!
