Transmission / Overdrive: Weight of powershift transmission?

How much does the powershift transmission weigh?

If anybody is going to the May meet, I can get it there. The transmission without the torque converter or bell housing weighs 142 lbs.
add an additional 60 for both of those.

I concur. When I swapped mine out for a 700R4 I weighed it (for comparison) and it was right about 200 pounds. Mine included the bellhousing (the Chevy bellhousing) and the convertor.

Side note: FWIW, the 700R4 weighed in at 146 pounds. That and a 350 SBC took about 200 pounds off the front of the car!
